  Another thing we learned a lot about... solutions for the high engine oil & exhaust temps on injected bikes. All earlier bikes are running what's referred to as "Open Loop" fuel injection. With these bikes you simply buy a fuel management device & your done, assuming the map was properly developed for your combination of parts. Newer bikes are operating with "Closed Loop" fuel injection, in which O2 sensors look for an air fuel ratio of 14.7 to 1, which is very lean (thanks EPA). Unless you alter or remove the O2 readings, you've achieved nothing... the O2 sensors read emissions from the engine & adjust the fuel... effectively handcuffing attempts to alter fuel below 3,000 rpm. You need to use Wideband O2's & controllers to alter the fuel for better performance & cooler engine temps. These systems will sample your air fuel ratio... 500 times/second. Best of all, there's no need for Dyno tuning. Should you decide to change your intake or exhaust, it will re-adjust... even if you alter the engines internal components... just download a new base map for the correct timing curves !
